Embedded object appears as icon due to Display as Icon option selected.
Cause:
This behavior occurs because the 'Display as Icon' check box in the 'Object' dialog box was selected when embedding the object.
Solution:
Clear the 'Display as Icon' check box.
1) Select the icon on the worksheet. (Handles appear around the icon.)
2) Select the 'Edit' menu and select '<x> Object', where <x> is the type of object the icon represents. (A submenu appears.)
3) Select 'Convert...' from the submenu. (The Convert dialog box appears.)
4) Clear the 'Display as Icon' check box.
